Summer Intern

As a Summer Intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience designing and developing an AI‑driven solution in a real‑world business environment, with direct exposure to how technical solutions support commercial and sales organizations.
1. Learning Objectives
- Objective A: Learn how cross‑functional collaboration works in practice by partnering with Sales and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate data sources, and iteratively develop an AI agent.
- Objective B: Build professional skills in technical communication, stakeholder engagement, and networking by working alongside professionals in related technical fields and interacting with key industry participants.
- Objective C: Develop presentation and storytelling skills by translating technical work into business‑relevant insights for a non‑technical audience.
- Project Title: AI Sales Enablement Agent Development Project
- Expected Outcome: A functional AI agent prototype connected to a designated database
- Documentation summarizing use cases, technical approach, and key learnings
- A final presentation delivered to Sales Management outlining the solution, business value, and recommendations for future enhancement or scalability
- This project is designed to be a clearly defined, end‑to‑end learning experience with a tangible outcome suitable for an academic and professional portfolio.
- Target Major/Field of Study: Engineering, Physics, Bio or equivalent.
- Current Year in School: Rising Junior / Senior
- Specific Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Office, Database research, Artificial Intelligence i.e. Chat GPT, Co-Pilot etc.
This is a hybrid position, based out of our Bridgewater, NJ office.
4. Pay Range
The target pay range for this internship is expected to be between $26-$27/hr. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and qualifications.
This position may require working with, or exposure to goods and information that may be subject to the jurisdiction of the US State Department ITAR regulations (https://www.pmddtc.state.gov/index.html) and the Commerce Departments CCL (https://www.bis.doc.gov/index.php).
